The Goat. It represents nature’s raw energy, the reach for higher elevations, the proclivity to both exertion and whim. In the Indus Valley, this animal is the symbol of what doesn’t manifest itself too easily. In Greek mythology, it is the Amalthea goat that suckled the infant god, Zeus.
